His Holiness Hussein always opposed, even if this meant that he had to sacrifice himself, the followers of Yezids who wished to accept all Muslims, other than the Arabs, as slaves. The Yezids were known for their cruelties. This event that took place in Karbela is remembered each year by Caferis in tears. Thousands of people gather together in the Asure Square in Halkali, Istanbul for the mourning rites that have been organized for 1365 years. My project is made of the instants that i was a witness of during these ceremonies.

8 yıl halkalıda oturdum sürekli gördüm caferileri ama ozamanlar küçüktüm fotoğraf nedir bilmezdim... şimdi fotoğraf çekme zamanı gelmiş ya...:D
